At the end of October the district flew all of the teaching staff to Point Hope for a collaborative inservice with the teachers there. This is a sod house that out tour guide, Emily, her aunt lived there, I believe, through the 19070s. Emily told us about going to visit and running through the front door of the "cunnychuck" and all the way to the one room living are at the back. We went right out to the point of Point Hope and we could see huge waves crashing in and around the point.
