Here is your first look at Marissa's new glasses!! She looks beautiful! And now she can see, too!! Her teachers have been very positive and excited for her. Which of course has made her so proud of her new glasses. Don't tell anyone, but I think they just help to show how smart she is! Yesterday, at the Nay family dinner, when she walked in the house a few people thought they saw Kelsey (her cousin) walking through the door. And Thank you to Grandma and Stacey for the wonderful and perfectly timed gift of fall church clothes for Marissa and Andrew.

We don't get the keys to our new house until the 9th of September. But I started packing this weekend. I've been stacking things in the toy room. Shortly after the kids got up from their naps I was finishing up with the food storage boxes. I carried the box into the toy room when I heard Andrew say, "I'm up high up, Mommy!" I looked up to see this....

I can't believe that Marissa is old enough to go to Pre-School! I've really been so excited for her to start. She met Miss Emily, her teacher, about a week ago at an open house for the kids. She got to explore all the different centers and the two play grounds (an outside one and an inside one). All she has talked about is going to school. Today was her first day of Pre-School. I felt so bad that Micah and I couldn't be there for this moment, but we have classes so Annette got to take the kids. We called her as soon as our classes were out and asked how it had gone. She said that neither one of her grandchildren said, "Good bye," to her when she dropped them off. They both just went straight for the other kids and all the toys. When we picked Marissa up from school she said that she had cried when Miss Emily told the class it was time to put the toys away. I think she learned that when the teacher says its time to clean up there are still fun things to do. When I...

We just heard back from the Sunset Ridge Village....And we are in!! We have to wait a little bit before we get the keys. But we drove by after they gave us the house number and I think we will be quite happy their! This is the picture that I submited with our paper work.

We have been given an opportunity to apply to live in some really nice townhomes with a back yard and a garage. Part of the application process is to write a letter describing our family and they suggest including a family photo. I wrote the following letter... To Whom It May Concern: Our family would love to be a part of the Sunset Ridge Village neighborhood for several reasons, but the one that is at the top of our list is its central location to work, family, and schools. By moving to Sunset Ridge Village we will be able to afford a pre-school for our four-year-old daughter. Micah is finishing up his Bachelors in Hotel, Resort & Hospitality Management at SUU with a Marketing minor. He has worked full-time as the Front Desk Manager at the Stratford Court Hotel for over two years. For Micah's Birthday we went to St. George with Tom and Chelsea. We went to Cafe Rio and then we went to Lazar Mania! We had so much fun! All of us played Lazar tag and black light miniature gulf. We played the arcade games. Then we went for ice cream at Cold Stone. Then we stopped by the outlet stores for Tom to Finally buy a pair of new shoes. (He's last pair has been on the verge of disintegration for about two months now.) Then we came home and played with Andrew and Marissa on Annette's trampoline. It was a great day.
